I love this place , the food is amazing and the service is great. We had never tried charbroiled oysters and they delicious. Our server recommended them. Do your self a favor and share a platter , you can thank me later. My wife had a poor boy and she said it was delicious. I had the shrimp dinner and it didn't disappoint. The shrimp was breaded lightly and seasoned perfectly

Solid restaurant with a crazy large fried seafood platter. We ordered a half portion for two people and couldn't finish it. The fried oysters and the fried shrimp were succulent, moist, with a crisp breading. Catfish and crab balls were okay. Price point and service was good for New Orleans. Worth a visit.

The restaurant was very nice. Clean and well lit. It was not busy when I was there but staff was well turned out. I was seated immediately and waited on promptly. There were several specials. I had stuffed grouper and chargrilled oysters. The grouper was very good but the oysters were the star of the show... my only complaint is the blanched green beans... put them in a crockpot with ham and leave them alone overnight... it won't be as pretty but you get a better product... but overall it was happy making. Total with tip was @ $100 but I did Have two entrees and an excellent Sazerac so I feel it was an excellent value.

The food portions were HUGE, fresh and delicious!! And the service was amazing! Felicia took care of our party of 6. We will definitely be back for the service, Arnold Palmers, seafood boiled potatoes and catfish!

Food and service was great . Felicia really went above and beyond to serve us. We will be coming back again !

I was in New Orleans this past weekend for the Saints vs Commanders game. My colleague recommended that I visit Deanie's Seafood and my sister and I were not disappointed. The food was fantastic seasoned to perfection. We both ordered the fried catfish platter and I had red beans and rice and she had the carrot soufflé which was excellent. We also ordered 2 rum punch's that hit the spot and quenched our thirst. Our servers name was Felicia and she was warm, friendly and accommodating. I hope to be served by her every time we visit. I would highly recommend Deanie's and if you can get Felicia to be your server the experience would be excellent.

Deanie's Seafood is a must-visit gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful seafood while in the New Orleans Quarter. My party and I dined here on a weekday, arriving just before the pre-dinner rush. This turned out to be a great decision, as we were immediately seated and given menus showcasing an impressive array of fried and baked seafood dishes. Our server was exceptional--knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. They took the time to recommend dishes based on our preferences, which was incredibly helpful given the extensive menu. As plates began to arrive at nearby tables, we noticed the portions were generously sized, setting the tone for an indulgent dining experience. For my main course, I opted for the stuffed flounder, which was perfectly cooked and full of rich, savory flavor. My dining companion chose the redfish, which was equally delicious. We also shared a Bucktown Blues Salad, a refreshing complement to the heartier seafood dishes. Each entrée came with sides, including green beans, which were fresh and well-seasoned. My companion added a creamy potato salad, and the complementary roasted potatoes were a delightful surprise--crispy on the outside and tender inside. The French bread served alongside the meal was impressively large, though I didn't manage to snap a photo in time! We paired our meals with cocktails and wine--my Voodoo cocktail was vibrant and flavorful, while my companion's red wine rounded out the meal beautifully. Everything arrived promptly, and the flavors were outstanding. By the time we finished, the restaurant was bustling with the dinner crowd, and we were glad we had arrived early. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service remained top-notch, further enhancing our experience. I'll definitely return on my next visit! craving authentic and flavorful seafood while in the New Orleans Quarter.

Whenever you're in NO you need to stop here to get the Charbroiled oysters. Nice place and the staff is friendly. And the food is delicious. The drinks.... Man the drinks are GOOD. I probably should have wrote this sober but y'all will have a great time.
